Monster Coffee was created out of a desire to create the perfect cup of black coffee for my wife, Tracey. In 2011 I purchased a Hot Top hoe roaster and began purchasing high quality green beans from a number of wholesalers to perfect my roasting techniques, creating blends and single origins for my wife to drink. Fast forward a few years and word of mouth had spread, friends began buying coffee and within no time we were roasting and shipping across Australia.
As the business grew in size we began to source different varieties of coffee from a number of suppliers, including Melbourne Coffee Merchants. Melbourne Coffee Merchants use responsible and transparent practices to select high-quality coffees from like-minded, dedicated coffee producers around the world and import them to Australia for us to enjoy. We now carry upwards of 600kgs of green beans in stock from a large variety of countries around the world.
We pride ourselves on selling only the freshest coffee beans which is why we only roast to order, ensuring that each batch is roasted perfectly just for you. Once roasted the beans are stored in a specialised bag with a one-way valve to allow the beans to de-gas without allowing oxidisation. Any of our single origin coffees can be combined to create your own personal blend.
