Thikagiki Farmers Cooperative Society
The Kiriaini Mill is located in Kiriaini within Murang’a County. It’s thought to be the birthplace of Kenya’s Kikuyu community, the largest of the communities in the country. Murang’a is also famed as the origin of the Mau Mau uprising which lasted form 1952 to 1960.
Kiriaini Mill is part of the Thikagiki Farmers Cooperative Society which ahs over 600 active members who collectively have 185 hectares under coffee cultivation.
